Three things about Patton Village:




1. It has a reputaton of being a well know speed trap.



2. The residents like to fish in Peach Creek Lake.



3. H. L. Patton, purchased and developed, the land

where the town sits, which is about three miles

south of Splendora.

H. L. Patton born in Splendora back in 1889-

Did well in the oil business, (H. L. Oil Corporation), and

still has much family history in this area, derived, from a hard

working man, of a unique kind.
